Safety litigation
In November 2025 Figure AI’s former head of product safety sued the company for retaliation. The complaint states that the F.02’s arms can generate force well above the injury threshold and cites an incident in which the robot punctured a steel refrigerator door with staff nearby. Figure AI disputes the allegations and the case is unresolved — noted here because it is context worth having when reading about this hardware, not as a finding of fault.
