The Keenon XMAN-F1 is KEENON’s first bipedal humanoid service robot, world-premiered at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) 2025 in Shanghai, 26–29 July 2025. The company’s framing is Role-Based Integration — embedding a specific job (reception, guidance, beverage work) into one humanoid platform.
We file the F1 under Food Robotics because most of what KEENON has demoed and piloted sits on the food-and-drink side, but the machine itself is a general-purpose humanoid, not a dedicated beverage appliance.

Demos and real pilots
WAIC 2025 (Shanghai). KEENON built an “Embodied Service Experience Hub” across three zones — medical station, lounge bar and performance space. The F1 mixed personalised chilled drinks such as Sprite or Coke with adjustable ice levels, scooped popcorn, and delivered product demos on stage itself using multimodal interaction and LLM technology. It also did collaborative bartending with Johnnie Walker Blue Label, and worked with the M104 logistics robot in the medical zone.
LEAP East 2026 (Hong Kong, 8–10 July 2026). The F1 took the guest-reception role, greeting visitors with waves and heart-shaped hand gestures, while the XMAN-R1 played barista and the compact XMAN-L1 handled dance routines and close-range interaction.
Pilots with large chains. TechNode reports pilot deployments with Shangri-La Hotels and Walmart, including preparing tea at specified temperatures in a hotel context. eWeek reports a McDonald’s trial in Shanghai where the F1 greets guests and provides information, with other KEENON robots doing meal delivery and tray collection.
What to know before you evaluate one
No price, no availability date. NotebookCheck flagged on launch day that the F1 lacked pricing and availability (unlike the R1 at the time), and as of 28 July 2026 no public figure exists.
It still needs other robots around it. Both NotebookCheck’s coverage and KEENON’s own material point the same way: the F1 works as part of a set — M104 in the medical zone, T10 for transport at the bar. Budget for a system, not a single unit.
Don’t confuse it with the XMAN-L1. The L1 is a separate compact humanoid, reported at 42 DoF — close enough to the F1’s 43 that the two numbers get quoted interchangeably.
