Where the C55 sits in the KLEENBOT line

The Keenon Kleenbot C55 is the large-area model in the KLEENBOT family. KEENON announced it alongside the C40 and C20 in the same launch as the XMAN-R1 on 31 March 2025, gave it an offline North American debut at the ISSA Show North America in Las Vegas on 11 November 2025, and showed it again at Interclean Amsterdam 2026 (April 2026).

Specs we left blank: weight and body dimensions — figures circulate in some distributor spec sheets, but we could not confirm them on KEENON’s own site or in news coverage, so they are omitted. Same for travel speed, per-battery runtime and IP rating.

C55 or C40?

The deciding variable is floor area and shift pattern, not price:

  • The C55 fits when you have more than 3,000 m² of indoor floor, it is open factory- or warehouse-style space, and the machine has to run across shifts without stopping to charge. The real selling points are the 110 L tank that needs one fill a day and the dual battery that swaps in 5 seconds.
  • The C40 fits when you have a commercial building with tight routes and a lot of furniture — KEENON quotes a 65 cm minimum pass-through width for the C40, a figure it has not published for the C55. If your building has choke points, measure them first.
  • The C30 fits when the floors are marble or carpet in premium areas that need dry, quiet work.

⚠️ The 2,376 m²/hour figure is the manufacturer’s. In practice it drops with obstacle density, the number of turns, and the hours when people are walking around. Always get an on-site trial on your real floor before signing.

Frequently asked questions

How is the Kleenbot C55 different from the C40 and C30? +

The C55 is the large-area model — KEENON positions it for indoor spaces over 3,000 m² such as factories and logistics hubs, with a 110 L water tank and a hot-swappable dual battery. The C40 is positioned for synchronised sweeping and scrubbing in general commercial settings (supermarkets, hotels, offices, hospitals). The C30 targets premium spaces that need quieter, water-free dry cleaning across surfaces from marble to carpet. The smaller C20/C25 handle daily maintenance.

How much does the Kleenbot C55 cost? +

There is no citable public price as of 28 July 2026 — KEENON's press releases and the trade-show product pages state no purchase price and no monthly rental. Buyers need a direct quote from a KEENON distributor.

How fast does the C55 clean? +

KEENON states a cleaning capacity of 2,376 m² per hour at a 55 cm cleaning width, combining sweeping, scrubbing and suction in one machine, and says floors are left dry in 30 seconds without streaks. These are manufacturer figures under test conditions — ask for an on-site trial on your actual floor before deciding.

How often does it need refilling and charging? +

KEENON specifies a 110 L total water tank, which the company says needs only one refill per day for all-day operation. Power comes from a dual-battery system that hot-swaps in about 5 seconds, so the machine can run 24/7 without waiting on a charge.
